During Term 2 of 2024 we had ex-Freyberg student Charlotte Cook visit us. Charlotte, the Head Girl of Freyberg in 2013, is now an RNZ journalist hosting Midday Report. You might know her from her story about the ‘Sushi Penguins’, where two cute little penguins kept breaking into a sushi restaurant looking for shelter. Charlotte came to Freyberg to share her experiences and to inspire others with her stories and challenges. Charlotte is a great role model of what you can achieve after high school, and we are very grateful that she shared with us and took time out of her day to visit.
