"Since graduating in 2023, I have been studying Psychology and Media Studies at Massey University through a Bachelor of Arts. When I'm not studying, I have worked at Cloud9 Trampoline Park, and Milson School as Learning Support.
In my free time, I have continued performing on stage with Act Three Productions in their shows. Most recently you may have seen me in Kinky Boots, where I was playing a drag queen. This was a great experience that pushed me out of my comfort zone and let me try something new."
During Matthew's time at Freyberg, he was involved in all things Performing Arts and we are so proud that he has continued this since leaving. Matthew is currently helping out with the Freyberg school production of Mary Poppins.
Matthew in drag for the Act Three Productions show of Kinky Boots in 2024. Hawi Pere, William Lyne and Emilia Vibart (current students) along with Lottie Perry (Arts Coordinator) were also on stage with Ricky Chan (HOD Music) playing trumpet in the band.
